Nov 07 Main floor

It was always my intention to faithfully submit a paragraph on a regular basis but somehow in the frenzy of the actual work and the planning it did not happen. So here I am at the beginning of November adding from my failing memory the pieces.

We knew that there would be a total refit at the very least for the main floor so we removed all flooring and most cabinets quite early. We salvaged as much as possible and had very few broken bits.
