20 May 08 Finally visible changes!

For so long the house has been undergoing almost invisible transformation. You can see the fireplace in the living room. CAT-5 has been strung to all the rooms – 750 meters worth!
There’s about 185 electrical devices (plugs, switches, lights) connected by about 2 kilometres of wire... Alex has hired on as site supervisor which has been a great help!
The pavilion out back was set up the May long weekend and is ready for convivial conversation with the interesting guests (the hosts may be too tired to respond coherently). The pond is running but still scum ridden, and glory be, the drywallers are working hard!
